Who Were Looking For

As the Director of Business Development, Lender Services; Client Growth and Expansion,you will lead our company's efforts in building long-term relationships with our existing portfolio of lender/banking clients and drive revenue growth through wallet share expansion. In this role, you will drive and achieve sales goals by analyzing the existing book of CREtelligent Lender clients, building and developing relationships with key existing clients, understanding bank policy and workflow processes, detailing account opportunities and executing a plan to grow current account orders and expand account product usage. You will further support account expansion and the client experience through education and usage of CREtelligents RADIUS platform. This position will work in close partnership with the CEO, Lending National Account Director, Marketing, and Lending Client Success Managers.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Develop and execute strategies for client growth and wallet share expansion, including client retention, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives for our existing portfolio of lender customers.
  • Lead the development and implementation of client engagement programs and communication plans to drive client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with executive leadership and our marketing team to identify opportunities for wallet share expansion and develop targeted campaigns to increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with product and service teams to ensure that client needs are met and that new products and services align with client needs.
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure the success of client growth and wallet share expansion initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor to clients to help them achieve their business objectives through the consultative selling process.
  • Account Growth & Expansion: Understand the strategic market direction and needs of CRE Lending clients and expand existing accounts by selling within multi-layer and often complex financial institutions. Own the account development process, and in doing so, interact cross-functionally to identify and develop all potential revenue opportunities within the account.
  • New Market Opportunity Development: Based on existing CRE relationships and market knowledge, identifies new ways in which business opportunities can be developed using platform, products and services. Utilize developed networks to provide forums for information exchange to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensures ongoing customer satisfaction through a coordinated partnership with Client Success Managers (CSM) to support ongoing communication and relationship management and resolving any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Maintains detailed accounting of sales and pipeline management activities including calls, orders, sales, new opportunities, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems in companys CRM tool.
  • Provides territory sales forecasts, identifying and executing on areas of opportunity to grow the business.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, Sales, Business, or related field AND 5+ years proven success in strategic solution sales and strategic account management required.
  • Experience in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) market as broker, data provider or other role directly linked to CRE due diligence workflow.
  • 5+ years of experience in client growth, account management, or sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through client retention, cross-selling, and upselling strategies.
  • Experience working in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) company in a consultative sales or strategic account management capacity.
  • Experience selling CRE due diligence solutions directly into the lender space a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be flexible and able to travel up to 50% of time, or as required to meet/exceed target attainment.
